Title
Founding Partner/CEO at InVcap
President at Casa Foundation
Tell us about your involvement with Casa Foundation! How did it all start?
Before 2010, I was the Group Treasurer of one of the largest African Banks with 11 subsidiaries and Branches in Ghana and the UK. However, the Bank was affected by the global Financial crisis and I had to relocate to Canada. My family was already in Canada so settling down was easier. However, It was a time to rethink my life-goals after a 17 year stint in Africa's Investment banking sector.
Canada's Investment banking terrain appeared a little slower than what I had experienced in Nigeria and the UK. After a chat with a few top institutions, I knew I had to start on my own. I was not exactly sure where to start from but i pencilled down my ideas on how to fund entrepreneurs and support infrastructure in line with Casa Foundation's objectives. InVcap Managers emerged from this exercise. The firm started operation in 2013.
