Tell us about Amenzone.
Amenzone was built on the premise of doing more with less. This inspired a model that is of low overhead but strong revenue. The diversity of my services also makes it a strong business model and targets a more varied clientele. I subscribe to the logic of “I can not be everything to everybody” so I focused on my niche which is primarily 18-45 year olds that want a healthy lifestyle in a non-competitive, but inspiring environment.
What makes your business unique?
The experience makes it unique. Our relationships with our clients are not transactional. We are truly a community training for life. I try not to even call it a gym. It really is a strongly supportive community of like-minded people that care about a healthy lifestyle.
What is one of your biggest accomplishments so far?
Growing my business internationally and the local Emmy award received by my foundation.
What is your definition of leadership?
I believe the true definition of leadership is the ability to serve and inspire others to one day become leaders themselves.
Your favorite spot in Montreal?
Old Montreal, I love the architecture and the history. I spend a lot of time there.
Do you have a piece of advice for aspiring young men and women who wish to be successful in your field?
Yes, Stay true to who you are. Our differences should make us stronger not weaker. Success is not given it is taken. You must be willing to go out there and fight for what to believe you deserve.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
You cannot move forward looking backwards! You cannot focus on your past failures and future success at the same time. One must go. You get to choose.
