About The BRVM
The first African securities exchange in terms of the market performance of its indexes in 2015, the BRVM is a regional and electronic bourse including eight member countries: Benin, Burkina-Faso, Cote d’Ivoire (Headquarters), Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo.
It is responsible for the organization of the stock market and the dissemination of market information within the WAEMU. The BRVM is fully integrated and is the world’s only stock exchange common to eight countries.
The BRVM currently chairs the West African Capital Markets Integration Council (WACMIC) sponsored by the ECOWAS community and including the Nigerian Stock Exchange, the Ghana Stock Exchange, the Sierra Leone Stock Exchange, the Cape Verde Stock Exchange and their respective market regulators.
The BRVM is also an Executive Committee member of ASEA (African Stock Exchanges Association) and chairs the ASEA Policy and Regulation Working Group. M. Edoh Kossi Amenounve, Biography
From Togo, Kossi Edoh Amenounve, CEO of the BRVM (Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières) is considered as a major architect in the revival of the Francophone West Africa financial sector. In 1995, he earned his doctorate in Finance at Laval University (Canada), as well as his MBA in 1992.
He was previously the General Secretary of the CREPMF, regulator of the financial market of the West African Monetary Union (WAMU) from September, 1st 2003 to September 30th 2012. Mr Edoh Kossi AMENOUNVE took office (Abidjan, Côte D’Ivoire) on October, 1st 2012.

A propos de La BRVM
1ère bourse africaine en termes de performance des indices en 2015, la BRVM est chargée de l’organisation du marché boursier et de la diffusion des informations boursières au sein de l’UEMOA. Elle regroupe le Bénin, le Burkina Faso, la Guinée-Bissau, le Mali, le Niger, le Sénégal, le Togo et la Côte d’Ivoire où est établi son Siège. Elle est l’unique bourse au monde commune à huit pays.
La BRVM préside actuellement le Conseil pour l’Intégration des Marchés Financiers Ouest-Africains (WACMIC – West African Capital Markets Integration Council) sous la houlette de la CEDEAO et incluant les bourses du Nigéria, du Ghana, de la Sierra Leone, du Cap-Vert ainsi que leurs autorités de surveillance du marché respectives.
La BRVM est également membre du Comité Exécutif de l’Association des bourses africaines (ASEA – African Stock Exchanges Association) et préside le comité de l’ASEA en charge de la réglementation. La BRVM a terminé l’année 2015 avec une capitalisation du marché des actions de 7500 milliards de FCFA, soit une progression de 18,67 % en un an.

M. Edoh Kossi Amenounve, Biographie
Originaire du Togo, M. Kossi Edoh Amenounve, Directeur Général de la BRVM (Bourse régionale des valeurs mobilières) est considéré comme un ardent architecte de la renaissance de la place financière en Afrique de l’Ouest francophone. C’est en 1995 à l’Université Laval au Canada, qu’il a décroché son doctorat en Sciences de l’administration (option Finance), tout comme son MBA en 1992.
Avant de faire son entrée à la BRVM, monsieur Amenounve a été secrétaire général du CREPMF (Conseil régional de l’épargne publique et des marchés financiers) du 1er septembre 2003 au 30 septembre 2012. Le 1er octobre 2012, M. Amenounve entre en poste à la BRVM (en Côte d’Ivoire, à Abidjan).
